Sprucewood Cottage is a charming historic cottage, an absolutely lovely space for a romantic couples getaway~great for honeymooners, a solo retreat to relax & refresh or for digital nomads who work remotely. Two guests maximum.
The original lodge cottage was built in the late 1930's, now completely updated while keeping its original charm. The 1100 square foot house is entirely yours to enjoy and is conveniently located between Evergreen and Conifer, in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of space between homes.
COTTAGE
WITH A VIEW
Awake to the beautiful pines and view of Mount Evans from the Master bedroom. The cool mountain breezes keep the cottage cool without AC. During the cooler seasons, the cottage is kept toasty with central heat, a gas log fireplace in the bedroom and an electric fireplace in the living room.
Enjoy the established gardens from our many decks and cozy outdoor seating areas and take in the fantastic views and enjoy the deer that are frequent visitors. The outdoor area is a natural landscape with gardens and paths with uneven terrain but the interior of the house is one level. The upper garden includes a large gazebo with bistro lights and is perfect for sunset dining or morning coffee.

What an incredible place! I was excited by all of the high reviews, but somehow it still exceeded my expectations. It's more spacious than it looks in the photos & so thoughtfully decorated. The view from the bedroom is stunning; trees & the mountains in the distance. We enjoyed sitting and reading on the deck & eating breakfast in the gazebo. Cannot recommend this place enough!
